and so it begins...

As I sit here staring at the computer screen trying to decide where to begin, I realize that blogging is harder than it looks, not to mention I am somewhat technologically challenged:) but we all have to start somewhere so here I go...
I chose the title Life Down the Rabbit hole because I feel like my life truly is like the book "Alice in Wonderland." Alice was just an ordinary little girl who suddenly falls down the rabbit hole and enters this new extraordinary world where everything is topsy-turvy and unusual, but instead of worrying about it she accepts where she is and enjoys the adventure.
This is the story of my life- I have always felt that I am ordinary. I have always lived in the same area where I was born, I have attended the same church for 17 years and married my highschool sweetheart, but about five years ago God sent me down the rabbit hole and showed me that even in the midst of ordinary you can find an extraordinary life. Four years ago if anyone would have told me I was going to be a stay at home mother of two beautiful little girls, I would have laughed and thought they were crazy. After 8 years of trying to have children, the doctors told me that I probably would never get pregnant and to start to look into other options like adoption or fertility (which unfortunately we could not afford), but God knows more and can accomplish more than we can dream. Here I am 4 years later with two beautiful miracles that God created Emma-4 and Lydia-2. I couldn't afford to work and pay for childcare so my husband and I took a leap of faith and here I am at home, while my husband Jason is working, living on the belief that God will provide our needs, and he is providing for us daily, although on paper it doesn't look possible. This may not be the life I signed up for, but it is the one God has blessed me with and instead of worrying I am going to accept where I am and enjoy the adventure:)
